veriii assessment Research Assessment Certificate

veriii assessment is designed to help individuals demonstrate and validate their research skills with an ETS expert. Developed in collaboration with ETS — a global education and talent solutions organization — the program is grounded in the rigorous, research-based methodologies of the ETS Research Institute.

Program participants submit a research paper along with supplemental materials that highlight their research ideas, skills, and output. ETS experts review the submission, conduct an interview, and provide both scores and narrative feedback through an Evaluation Report. Participants also receive a certificate jointly issued by ETS and KSE, which can be used — along with the Evaluation Report — as a credential for university admissions or job applications.

veriii Research Certificate Program

In this 12-week, completely online program, students register for a class taught by a renowned professor from a top-tier U.S. or U.K. university in a specific academic area (e.g. biology, engineering, business, psychology etc.). During this course, students choose a research topic, do independent research under the personalized guidance of the professor, and submit a final research paper. The course will also offer live classes with the professor, several self-study videos, assigned readings, and a wide of range of other materials to help students learn valuable research skills and complete the college-level research project/paper.

veriii is designed to promote critical thinking through research following a Formative Learning Assessment (FLA) process. This means that students are evaluated, and receive feedback continuously, as they progress through the program. It differs from a traditional test, in which students receive their score based on their performance in a single day.

Because testing through learning is more than just test scores.

In addition to providing a more meaningful and accurate assessment of students’ abilities, the program also helps students identify their strengths and areas for improvement, and thus enhancing their research skills and aptitude throughout their veriii learning journey.
